A 12-year-old world blended whisky from the Kurayoshi range, produced by the Matsui Shuzou distillery in Tottori Prefecture. Aromas of charred orange peel, lemongrass and rye bread fill the nose, complemented by notes of apple, white grape, barley, lime blossom, ginger and a hint of smoke throughout the palate.
This is the 12 year old Kurayoshi expression – a blended malt from the little-known Matsui Shuzou distillery in Japan’s Tottori Prefecture. These whiskies are made with malts sources from Scotland, then blended with Japanese whisky and volcanic-rock-filtered water.
